When she finally stopped growing, she measured about 227 centimeters, with a weight ranging between 159 and 187 kg. Her feet were 13 inches long.

Her parents were of medium height, and all her twelve brothers and sisters were of average size.

Anna was considered to be very intelligent. She played the piano and was interested in acting and singing. She worked for P.T. Barnum in his American Museum and toured the United States and Canada.
