The Faery Grail Of Hospitality And Accord – Secrets Of The Elucidation – Part 2
Caitlín Matthews - AncientPages.com - We continue where we ended in part 1 of this series.
As the Round Table Knights continue on their quest, they encounter the Rich Company, a different group of half-human, half-Faery beings: unlike the wanderers led by Bleheris, the Rich Company’s pride seeks to subdue the whole land, and to obtain every benefit and luxury for themselves.
The impoverishment and oppression caused by their greed keeps King Arthur and his knights occupied in long wars of attrition, until Arthur is able to subdue them. Shortly after this, the text of the Elucidation frustratingly breaks off. The Elucidation reveals to us aspects of a world wholly familiar to our ears: the rape of the earth; the wars and factionalism that follow the establishment of corporate interest; the subsequent suffering of humanity, animals, vegetation; and the decline of fertility across the earth.
The story also offers the hope of restoration and healing through a better understanding of the accord that we should have with Faery, and the regeneration of the Grail.
