Generally, historians have difficulties to accept the evidence for mass disappearances. However, such mysterious events have been recorded and remain as unsolved.
In this article we take a closer look at some of the most baffling mass disappearance case that have been documented. Some of these events occurred a long time ago, while other cases are more recent. What all these stories have in common is that they are unexplained and involve a great number of people who were never seen again.
